M63 Sunflower galaxy ( sc3 webcam )\
63 the "Sun flower galaxy" . LX200 8" - F5 - 66x35sec taken with ToUcam SC3 - uv/ir filter. Unguided. Looks like I need the double exposure time to get more detail out of this one. 

M51 Whirlpool galaxy ( sc3 webcam )
LX200, F3,3 no ir-uv  filter. 73x60sec stacked and  little wavelet  processed in  registax3, rest enhancements in photoshop. The scope was  guided with the Meade DSI and autostar software. This is the first light image with my CCD chip upgrade webcam (ICX424AL)

M51 Whirlpool galaxy ( Meade DSI )
78x60sec RGB tiff stacked in demo version of MaximDL and processed in photoshop. The scope was  guided with de sc3 webcam with k3ccd. This was taken at almost the same conditions as the webcam version of m51. The image is a little cropped to fit the same size as the webcam version. Somehow I like that one ( the webcam version ) better. although only black and white, it was a lot easier to process. And because it's has a black and white ccd it got a higher  "detail resolution". It could be that the focus was a little off for the DSI image and the image processing can be be done a lot better,  but knowing the efficensie making an images with the DSI vs the Webcam I decided to image the next clear nights with the webcam and guide with the DSI. ( This does not mean the the DSI is not a good camera ! There are some great images on the internet made with the DSI, but for me it's just easier to use the webcam at this moment )

Horsehead Nebular
135x30sec r-g-b fits stacked in demo version of MaximDL, optimized in photoshop ( r-g-b leveled and curverd )
Not taken in optimal conditions and the images were not the best to work with, but this is  the best I could make from it.
It looks like l gonna need a H-alpha filter and do some flat fielding next time.
