An other great use for the Ipadpit: iRacing with the ispeed tool: I just started iRacing and found the following tool very handy to keep me up to date with my split times. I use a basic template from the ipadpit to get it working on my ipad. Let me know if you want to know how more about it. (iRacing got a great deal with a three month subscription for 12$ till the end of this year, check the banner at ww.simhq.com)

Ipadpit for MS Flightsim FSX and Falcon BMS ?  I had some questions if the Ipadpit could be used in Flightsim FSX or Falcon BMS. Yes sure! I've got some idea's how to use it for FSX, but real live is eating all my time at this moment. The way the Ipadpit is build, using the tool TouchIR with autohotkey scripts for sending keyboard commands and grabbing screens from whatever screen position you like, I think FSX will work perfect with this tool. The same for Falcon BMS. ( I just had a quick try with Falcon BMS, enabled the MFDs and placed them on my second(virtual) monitor at the same place as where I got them for A10 and whalla! it works, got the mfds in flight on my Ipad.. Could do the same for the DED and what else is available.. Changing the keylayout from A10 to falcon BMS default should not be so hard also.... Just noticed that F4 BMS forum member Hreich is working on a F4 version. If you like to give it a try for FSX, I might be able to give you some feedback!

DCS A10 Patch 1.1.0.9 is out. There is a known issue with this patch the way the custom MFD's are displayed. It looks like it has something to do with the way the aspect ratio settings are handled for the MFD's in relation to the full display aspect ratio. The effect on the ipadpit is that the MFD's are empty or not correct displayed. TouchIR is still screengrabbing at the same place but the MFD's are some were else on your monitor and not the correct size. Editing the monitoring lua file with some try and error coordinats settings solved it for me. If you interessed in my settings let me know.  An other change that you might noticed when you use the Ipadpit for cold startup is that you have to turn the MFD's on manualy now. you do this with the power buttons on the lower left site of the mfd. This is not yet implemented in the Ipadpit. I will add it in the next release of my A10 ipadpit profile.

What does it cost!
I had some questions about the price of the Ipadpit software. It is actually  a free download, but you need the ipad app Touch IR+ to run it.  With it's autohotkey plugin, Touch IR+ will cost you around $6. This great app is not made by me and I don't get any money out of it. I made the A10 Ipadpit  for free and want to keep it like this :) . But be aware, Don't mistake my Ipadpit with the DCS Icontrole ($20+) you find in the App store. This is a different product. It is not my A10 Ipadpit!

Ipadpit now available for BlackShark! Ed "highwaymaned" Use the A10 Ipadpit as a template to make a DCS BlackShark version that give use the ABRIS and Shkval real time on you Ipad. You can find the profile and .Lua file on the download section. Use the dcs A10 profile instruction to get it up and running if your new to the Ipad pit.   Check the DCS Forum for info and if you got questions for Ed.

DCS A10 Patch 1.1.0.8 is out. I got a some reports that there could be some issue's with the key configuration (keyprofile.lua file) I will check and update this ASAP. If you got some info about this let me know, it will make my work a bit easier thx! (note: didn't find any real issue's so fare. Only for cold startup you have to select from HARS mode to EGI in cockpit with mouse at this time because I have not add the NMSP yet.)

Update: I added two video's, one demo of the animated switches I'm working on (get the test version here Ipadpit202_anim.zip) and  the Dual MFD that is available in the profile 2.02.

NEWS FLASH 2 !! Switch animation: With some code i've recieved and some help from the Touch IR developer, it is now possible to use moving switches in the Ipadpit! You can have a try with my first test profile. Check the download page for the moving switches profile Ipadpit202_anim.zip!

NEWS FLASH!  Hiding the MFD's:Check the document download page for instructions how to hide the static MFD's. Good news is this way you can get rite of the static MFD's in you field of view, bad new is there seems to be some video cards that does not support this "virtual monitor" solution. Just check it out and let me know if it works for you!

My A10 Ipadpit Version 2 that runs on the Ipad app Touch IR+ has been downloaded more than 150 times in 1 month. Thanks!

With the use of the iPad app Touch IR+ you free to modify it as you like. How about making an Iphonepit!

Some idea's I still have to add is the lightning panel and ILS Radio panel and I'm playing around with the animated switches options.. (This would be cool, I hope I can get this working acceptable..)

There are two profiles included in this package. One for a Dual MFD and one for a Single MFD solution. You might choice to use one MFD to get a better in game cockpit FOV. In case you don't care about the quality of the mfd but need it for a reference with the mfd button pushing and want to have the best FOV in a one monitor solution, you could use just one small 200x200 MFD on you monitor.

Read the doc's for the installation and configuration instructions.

It's a free download but you do need the Ipad app Touch IR+ I used to create the Ipadpit. With it's autohotkey plugin it will cost you around $6

Have fun .

You've got a copy of Eagle dynamic's DCS A10C and you got an Ipad? Then this might be something for you. Control your MFCD's, CDU, UFC, complete startup procudere switches and button on your Ipad!

The IpadPit is an A10 cockpit profile made with the Ipad app "Touch IR+"  This app was originally designed to be used as an IPad Remote controller emulator for MediaCenter PC and Home systems.  I'm not the developer of this App, I found it in the Apple App store and think it is the best of it's kind!

I started this project for myself but thought others might be interested  and made it available for all .There is a little configuring enfolded to get it all working and there might still be some issues, I cannot guarantee all will work perfectly for you. It is all open and you are free to change it as you like. As long as you give credit to the people who deserve it. I hope you will share it with us!
